Café Pod is one of the UK’s most exciting coffee brands, known for bringing high-quality, sustainable coffee pods to thousands of homes. Now, we’re bringing the brand to life in a whole new way - with its first-ever bricks-and-mortar retail store.

This store is the first of many – an opportunity to shape what Café Pod looks and feels like in person. It’s not just about coffee; it’s about building a local community, sparking conversations, and delivering an experience that goes beyond the cup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help bring the store to life - building a passionate team and a loyal customer base.

• Deliver strong results across KPIs including footfall, conversion, average transaction value, and repeat customers.

• Develop relationships with local businesses, run community initiatives, events and explore B2B opportunities.

• Deliver a great experience - Lead from the front, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the quality of the Café Pod brand.

The Role:
Beyond the day-to-day running of Café Pod’s first-ever retail store, this role is about making Café Pod a true local hub. You will build relationships with nearby businesses, run small events and tastings, and explore local B2B opportunities. The goal is to create a space where people gather, discover great coffee, and feel connected to the brand and the community around it.

About You:

• Experience in leading a team in a small footprint store where interactions counts.

• Delivers strong service, hitting performance targets and driving customer loyalty

• Commercially minded spotting opportunities to grow sales, drive local awareness, and build momentum around the brand.

• Community focused, building relationships with customers, local businesses, and the wider community.

• Confident communicator, comfortable sharing updates, ideas, and insights with senior stakeholders.

• Natural team builder, you enjoy coaching and developing teams, creating confident brand ambassadors.

• Ownership mentality, you treat the store like your own, proactive, solutions focused, and proud of the results.
